Coding
At Lit & More we wil assist your team in determining how to create the most effective database for your particular circumstances. Our experienced coding team will build a database, based on your specifications, consisting of standard objective information from your document such as Date, Document Type, Title, Author, Recipient, etc.
OCR (Optical Character Recognition)
OCR conversion is the process by which text from an image can be extracted, providing searchable ASCII text. The OCR text of the complete document can then be searched for key words or phrases. OCR can be an effective supplement to an objective coded database or as an alternative to key word or names mentioned coding.
EDD (Electronic Data Discovery)
The use of technology in Corporate America has finally emerged in the courtroom! Discovery documents now are more likely to exist as electronic data than as hardcopy. Lit & More helps litigation teams by converting email populations to bates numbered images and searachble text, without the need to first be printed to paper. Emails and their attachments are quickly prepared for use with Litigation Support Databases (e.g. Concordance & Summation). By eliminating the need to print documents first to hard copy and them bates labeling them, Lit & More saves firms and their clients both time and money.
Blowbacks
Lit & More utilizes high-speed digital printers to print images to hard copy. Whether your electronic documents exist in TIFF, PDF, Text or other formats, Lit & More will convert them to paper for you. Hard copies may be used for depositions, for experts or producing to opposing counsel. Images can be chronologically sorted and printed with new numbering sequences and additional information in the footer, such as Confidential or Privilege statements.
